Created in 2007, Boiselife is a community-focused movement organized by the community, owned by the community. Through the website, www.boiselife.org, members of our city are called to unite by enjoying, learning, and serving the community we all proudly call home.

Since its inception, Boiselife has worked to create a presence in the community by finding tangible ways to meet the needs of our city. Hosting Boiselife Days, a monthly service outreach program, and delivering dozens of bicycles to the Boise’s refugee population, our organization has positively impacted many lives.. Additionally, Boiselife has been a catalyst in taking Table Rock, one of Boise’s greatest treasures, from a state of disorder, graffiti, and trash, back to its intended state of safety, enjoyment, and recreation.

Recording over 100,000 hits to date, this movement is gaining momentum through the website and requiring action on our part to achieve a higher level of commitment to service. To effectively respond to the needs within our community, Boiselife has resolved to establish a physical volunteer center. This center will work to raise awareness and educate our city about volunteer needs and opportunities, providing the foundation to put our community in action.

 A volunteer center is a hub for both volunteers and nonprofit organizations to partner and share resources. The Boise Volunteer Center will match the volunteer needs of nonprofits with the skills and interest of individual volunteers.

Boiselife believes that through a physical volunteer center, our community will be able to access and react with the necessary people and financial resources to satisfy real needs in our community. In order to transform Boise into a community of action, we are asking for your support. 

 Boiselife is a project of Leap Charities, Inc. which was founded January 2008 as an Idaho Corporation. In March 2008, Leap Charities was approved as a tax exempt entity under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
